Faber cylinders, manufactured in Italy, are the industry standard for dive tanks. Steel cylinders offer considerable benefits over aluminum ones, primarily due to steel's superior strength. This allows for thinner walls and a more compact size while maintaining the same internal volume. Additionally, steel cylinders have better buoyancy properties. Unlike aluminum tanks, which become positively buoyant as they empty (requiring extra lead to offset this), steel tanks remain negatively buoyant throughout the dive.
 
This package comes as a 12L or 15L cylinder, boot, and valve. The valve can easily switch from yoke to DIN by removing a threaded insert.
